We recommend that you measure the opening for the door, rather than an existing door, for the most accurate fit.

PLEASE NOTE: Take into account any flooring or carpet that you may put in before the door. The depth of this should be taken out of the height measurement.

1. Measure the height of the opening on the left side, the centre, and the right.
2. Measure the width of the opening at the top, the centre, and bottom.
3. Take the three measurements and average these out to get an accurate size. Make sure to do this for both the height and width.
4. The last measurement is the thickness. You can measure your existing door, about handle height for this. If you do not have an existing door in this opening then don’t worry, a standard door will typically be 35mm.
5. The next step is to find your perfect door in our collection. Choose a size that is the closest to your height, width and thickness.

Prefinished doors are ready to hang and are factory finished. White primed doors are primed ready to be painted the colour of your choice.

Our standard clear glazed doors have 4mm thick toughened glass. Our certified fire doors use Certifire approved 7mm thick fire glass and is fitted by approved qualified glaziers.

A maximum total of 32 mm can be taken off the width and the height of a standard or metric door. The maximum trimming allowance for FD30 Doors is 30mm. Trimming must be completed in equal increments. The maximum trimming allowance on Urban range is 6mm.

The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) promotes responsible forestry. They certify forests all over the world to ensure they meet the highest environmental and social standards. In order to be given FSC certification a forest must be managed in an environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial and economically viable manner.

FD30 doors have been built to withstand a fire for 30 minutes and FD60 doors a fire of 60 minutes.

Depending on the door design, we use different types of glass. Our clear glazed doors feature clear toughened glass or bevelled toughened glass – this is specified on each of our products. Our FD30 glazed doors all feature Pilkington glass. This has been extensively tested to ensure that it offers the very best in fire safety.
